Lalit’s journey found meaning through his spiritual bond with his father. In Vrindavan, under the Lalit Dalmia Foundation, this path became a quiet commitment to care. Stray cows, nandis, horses, cats, and dogs—injured, abandoned, or weak—are rescued, fed, medically treated, and protected with dignity. If a life cannot be saved, it is given last rites. In every season, the Lalit Dalmia Foundation shows up, offering compassion and care wherever needed.

Beyond this, Lalit has dedicated his life to the preservation of Indian art and craft, working closely with artisans across the country. From Kasheeda, Aari zardozi, patan patola, Banarasi, and Kanjivaram He also actively supports women artisans, creating opportunities through these traditions. By nurturing relationships and honouring techniques, he ensures these legacies continue to live, evolve, and inspire future generations.

They also strive to preserve and give new life to freshly uprooted trees, nurturing them wherever possible.
